About Madeline

Madeline is an emerging, Alberta based theatre designer focusing primarily on costume and set design. Highly successful in producing art in fast paced and collaborative settings, she seeks to explore theatre through her designs that focus on functionality, architecture and its effects on movement and mood. 

Madeline was president of the Student Scenogaphers Association for two years of her time at university. There, she organized theatre art exhibits around the university, coordinated fundraising and grant applications for the groups trip to the Prague Quadrennial and coordinated the end of year Portfolio show, exhibiting all theatre design students work at the end of each year.

DEMONSTRATED SKILLS:

Model making, 2D and 3D CAD, 3D printing, basic carpentry, scenic painting, hand and machine sewing, costume alteration, pattern drafting(flat and draped), fitting and breakdown, natural and sythetic dyeing, wardrobe maintenance, AutoCAD drafting, rendering and illustration and Mac and Microsoft Office programs.
